Note: My first full game director roll. ToyRush was a mobile free-to-play game that was Clash of Clans meets tower defense with toys for units and turrets. Bubble Gum launchers, rubber band guns, plush toys, tech toys, etc. Although the game didn't do well financially, I learned a lot.

Learnings:

  • I learned a lot about what makes a mobile games and free-to-play games tick.

  • Tower defense has a bit of a different balance than an RTS. I believe that the balance was good, but took a little longer to get there.
