Note: This was the first commercial MOBA. Released before League of Legends. I designed it with hybrid RTS/RPG in mind. Although I left before the end of the project to help start Uber Entertainment, the game was near complete.

Work

  • Original visionary for the game

  • Designed all the Demigods and maps

  • Designed all game play systems and minions.

Learnings:

  • My first foray into combining genres and found that I love it.

  • First time having the entire game design in my control. I learned how to see the bigger picture with respect to overall game design and designing within production capacity.

  • My design decisions can impact the production. Learned to design within production capacity to avoid big crunch.
